County Antrim business Kilwaughter Minerals has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer.

Gary Wilmott takes on the role from Simon McDowell, who is moving into a Non-Executive Director role on the Kilwaughter Board.

In his new role, Gary will build on the company's track record and further develop the growth strategy to realise a long term sustainable business.

The Chartered Director and Chartered Engineer possesses years of experience serving as Managing Director at Belfast-based manufacturer Andor Technology, and held a number of director level roles in several businesses.

Gary is also a graduate of Queen's University Belfast and Warwick Business School.
