Grafton Finalises Sale Of Belgian Merchanting Business

Builders merchanting and DIY firm Grafton has completed the sale of its Belgian merchanting business.

The UK and Ireland company finalised the deal on Friday 04 October after entering into a conditional agreement late last month.

This transaction follows the £66.75 million sale of the firm's specialist UK plumbing and heating business, Plumbase.

These disposals form part of Grafton's strategy of orientating towards higher returning businesses with good long-term growth prospects.
