Uisce Éireann is carrying out essential maintenance this week to protect water services for households and businesses across Donegal.
Teams will continue reservoir cleaning at the Croithlí Water Treatment Plant, with further works scheduled in Pettigo on Friday. While disruption is not expected, some customers in these areas may experience temporary interruptions while the works are under way.
Activities will take place between 8am and 6pm, and crews will work to complete the cleaning and return supply to normal as quickly as possible.
Speaking about the maintenance works, Uisce Éireann's Damien O'Sullivan said: "These cleaning works of our reservoirs are necessary to continue to provide a safe, clean and reliable supply to customers. We will make every effort to avoid water supply outages, however, some customers may experience a water supply outage for a short period only."
Damien added: "Uisce Éireann understands the inconvenience when planned works like this occur and thanks customers for their patience while we complete these essential maintenance works".
