Uform, a supplier of doors and accessories to the kitchen, bedroom and living space markets in the UK and Ireland, has acquired TKC in a move designed to bolster the Uform Group's position in the kitchen sector and extend its footprint in Great Britain.
Both companies have established strong reputations with independent kitchen retailers, contract clients and trade manufacturers. Uform's progress has been underpinned by product quality, innovation, service and a wide range. The deal marks a strategic step to expand reach and capability by opening new market opportunities and establishing a physical presence in Great Britain.
TKC brings complementary expertise and a robust presence in merchant and trade channels—areas Uform has identified as significant growth opportunities. By combining Uform's scale, manufacturing capability and customer focus with TKC's channel strengths, the group aims to broaden its offer, enhance flexibility for customers and unlock additional routes to market. Together, the companies said they will be the largest specialist supplier to the kitchen market, with an expanded product portfolio and a more complete proposition across all channels. As a people-first organisation, Uform said it looks forward to welcoming TKC colleagues into the group.
Uform also announced that David Adams will join as Chief Executive Officer to lead the combined Uform and TKC businesses through their next phase of growth. On his appointment, David Adams said: "I am excited to be joining Uform at such an important point in its development. The combination of Uform and TKC creates a compelling platform for growth, and I look forward to working with the team to build on the strong foundations of both businesses and deliver for our customers."
Commenting on the deal, Uform's Group Sales and Marketing Director Wes Mckenna says ,"After a long and considered search, we are pleased to complete the acquisition of TKC. This is an important step for the Group and significantly strengthens our kitchen and bedroom offering. By bringing together the strengths of both businesses, we are well positioned to deliver even greater choice, competitive pricing and continued high levels of service to our customers."
CEO of TKC, Roy Saunders adds, "The acquisition of TKC by Uform is exciting news. Uform is a respected brand in the KBB sector and undoubtedly our combined strength will provide strong growth and a compelling proposition for our customers, as well as long-term stability for our employees. This is a fantastic opportunity to create an exciting future, and we look forward to working with our Uform colleagues to achieve this."
