Cork County Council has signed contracts with J.D. Buckley Construction Ltd to construct Phase 3 of the Cearnóg Chluain Each housing scheme in Knocknagree.

The agreement was concluded at County Hall on Monday 27 July 2026, with Chief Executive Moira Murrell and the Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Bernard Moynihan, present for the signing.

Situated on the outskirts of Knocknagree and close to local amenities and services, the project is being advanced under the Social Housing Investment Programme (SHIP).

The development will deliver seven homes: four one-bedroom single-storey houses, two two-bedroom two-storey houses and one three-bedroom two-storey house.
