Designer Group has secured a significant contract to deliver a high-voltage substation for a data centre campus in Eemshaven, the Netherlands, reinforcing its role in critical power infrastructure across Europe.

Known as GRQ8A, the scheme will develop a 400kV high-voltage to medium-voltage substation to feed a large-scale data centre, providing dependable and resilient power.

The company will deliver a full Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) solution, covering detailed design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, alongside the supply of all major plant and equipment.
