New Base For AMTL

Industrial cleaning firm AMTL has moved to new Dublin premises.

The company was previously located in Tallaght, but management have said the move to Greenogue Business Park, in Rathcoole supports recent expansion.

"Due to the continuing expansion of our various cleaning services the move has given us a better location and premises to develop our business," said managing director David Gethings.

AMTL specialise in industrial cleaning including Co2 (Dry Ice) Cleaning, Shot Blast Cleaning, Ultrasonic Cleaning and Manual Solvent Cleaning.

AMTL serves the Semiconductor industry, Pharmaceutical industry, Printing industry, Food Processing and Manufacturing industries.

Mr Gethings said: "There has been a steady increase in the number of enquiries related to our cleaning especially our innovative Co2 cleaning process, the main advantages of this process is that it is non-abrasive, clean, safe and environmentally friendly."

The Co2 cleaning process uses dry ice pellets at -79°C to break the bond between the material being cleaned and the contaminant.

It can be used on all materials and is an extremely effective cleaning method.

"Equipment that was previously stripped down for manual cleaning can now be Co2 cleaned in situ giving a more superior clean and less downtime," said Mr Gethings.

Shot Blasting is a more abrasive process and is generally used for surface preparation or cleaning of heavier contaminants or rust.

AMTL generally use Aluminium Oxide or Glass Bead as a blast media depending on the application. Ultrasonic cleaning is a quality cleaning method is is useful for delicate parts.

Various sized Ultrasonic baths allows AMTL to clean both small and large parts.

"AMTL also provide a manual solvent cleaning service which is useful for degreasing and defluxing of parts and offers a Class 100 clean environment where sensitive parts can be cleaned and packages as necessary," added Mr Gethings.
