Derry's Guildhall this week held a workshop aimed at helping local businesses reduce their energy costs.
Delegates also discussed new business opportunities presented in an ever-growing sustainable energy market.
Organised by Invest NI and Derry City Council's Economic Development Section, the event was open to all businesses in the North West region.
The workshop will gave businesses the opportunity to have one to one appointments with a range of companies, including the Carbon Trust, Envirowise, National Industrial Symbiosis Programme and Invest NI’s Sustainable Development Team.
Speaking before the event, City Mayor Paul Fleming said: "In the current economic climate, it is important that businesses can make savings where possible.
"This event will see a number of experts on hand to advise on how to reduce waste and save money through more efficient use of resources, in turn creating benefits for both the business and the environment."
