MacBlair has unveiled its newly upgraded Downpatrick branch, marking a new chapter for the Co. Down location, as it continues to service trade and retail customers.

Serving customers since 2012, the Downpatrick branch has been supported by an experienced 14-strong team, many of whom have worked at the location for more than a decade. The recent upgrades continue to build on the branch’s strong local foundation and will provide a refreshed retail environment that offers customers enhanced services, new showroom displays, and an increased offering of over 2,000 new product lines.

To celebrate the relaunch, MacBlair welcomed trade and retail customers to Downpatrick for two days of branch activity on October 14th & 15th. In addition to meeting representatives from leading suppliers such as Keylite, Keystone, Mannok, Crown Paints, CT1 and Bostik, customers were given the chance to win a £250 gift card each day, redeemable across Macnaughton Blair brands, while exclusive in-branch offers will run until Saturday, October 24th.

As part of the transformation, more than 2,000 new product lines have been introduced across key categories including ironmongery, plumbing, and heating, interiors, and decorating. Takker, the hand-powered, lightweight DIY hanging tool that featured on Dragons’ Den Ireland, was just one of the exciting new products that customers found when they visited the upgraded branch.

Also showcasing the latest trends, MacBlair Downpatrick's newly refreshed showroom features updated displays and an enhanced selection of kitchen worktops and taps. Alongside a new paint-mixing service, these in-store improvements make it easier for customers to explore a wide range of options across doors, flooring, bathrooms and more.Alan Wright, Managing Director at MacBlair, commented: "MacBlair has been serving customers in Downpatrick for more than a decade, and the branch upgrade reflects our continued commitment to the local community and the customers our team serves every day.

"Our experienced team remains at the heart of the branch, with many colleagues having built strong relationships with customers over many years. The transformation gives them an even stronger offering from which to support local trade, retail and DIY customers, combining greater choice with the expertise and service we are known for."
