A Dublin-based sign and nameplate company has launched its new Anocolour range of outdoor signs.
Alpha Signs and Nameplates can now produce a full colour Image on Aluminiuum, which is fade and vandal resistant, and will not be damaged by graffiti removal agents.
The image is protected under the anodic layer and is UV stable, unlike Dye sublimation which is not.
According to the company, the requirement to encase digital prints in Aluminium/Acrylic boxes is now gone while there are no more Yellowing polycarbonate or moisture ingression problems. This protection of the print is achieved by printing subsurface on the Aluminium, using the anodic printing process (up to 3 mm thick.)
The print resolution is 800 dpi, making them ideal for way finder Architectural and tourism signage.
Alpha offers a full sign and nameplate design, manufacture and fit service and has public liability insurance as well as an up to date tax clearance certificate.
The processes offered include routing, anodic printing ,screen printing, wide format digital printing, etching and engraving while the material worked include Brass, Aluminim, Polycarbonate and Stainless steel.
