One of Ireland’s leading construction companies has announced a €57m joint venture with a US property firm to develop a student accommodation scheme in north London.
The Cork-based O'Flynn Group has signed a deal with Westbrook Partners to build the 435-bed residence on a site that overlooks Wembley Stadium.
The development, which will be managed by Victoria Hall, a subsidiary of the O'Flynn Group, has already been granted full planning permission.
Royal Bank of Scotland has provided finance for the project, with investment being provided by Clovis Student Housing Group, a Jersey-based affiliate of Westbrook Partners.
Mace Living is to act as the main contractor on the scheme, which is scheduled to begin this month with completion slated for August 2011.
