Search Starts For Apprentice Of The Year 2011

The search has begun to find the top apprentice in Northern Ireland.

Nominations for the Apprentice of the Year Awards 2011 are now open and will close at noon on Wednesday 9 March. This is the 10th year of the awards.

These awards recognise the apprentices who are taking their future into their own hands and employers who, with their partnered training organisations, are investing in the future and the skills of their workforce.

Nominations are open now for four categories:

* Apprentice of the Year

* Most Promising First Year Apprentice

* Personal Achievement Apprentice

* Partnership Award (for employers and training suppliers)

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in the Europa Hotel, Belfast on Thursday 19 May.
