NI's FP McCann has won the contract to supply specially designed Ready Mix Concrete to Dale Farm's premises in Ballymena.

The dairy business, Dale Farm is extending their premises in the Pennybridge Industrial Estate, and required a large quantity of Ready Mix Concrete for their extended yard.

The job consisted of supplying 1000m3 of concrete in large pours over the duration of a few months.

The Concrete used was specially designed with fibres, which removes the need to reinforce the concrete with steel, therefore reducing the overall costs of the project.

A statement said: "Most of the Ready Mix Concrete was supplied from the Mallusk Plant, with some also supplied from Knockloughrim and Loughside plants.

"Miana Construction (Sub-Contractor) was very happy with our service and product," the statement concluded.

FP McCann Readymix supply concrete, mortar and screed solutions to the construction industry.

All products are specifically designed for a wide range of applications including, house building, industrial, commercial and agricultural applications.

All products comply with accredited quality assurance schemes and meet the relevant British and/or European standards.
