Two Belfast businesses have been ordered by a court to take action to secure dangerous properties.
City centre-based Hylaw Property Ltd was prosecuted by Belfast City Council after it failed to secure or repair dangerous brickwork at one of its premises at Salisbury Avenue. The council had issued the company with a notice to carry out the works last August.
It was given seven weeks to comply with the court order. The company was also ordered to pay court costs of £66.
Mossgiel Developments Ltd, of Old Channel Road, was ordered to pay costs of £66 for failing to secure or repair a dangerous vacant building at Bethsahn Tabernacle on North Boundary Street. The company was given four weeks to comply.
