The tender deadline for a planned €14m medico-legal centre in Dublin has been extended to the 6th May.
The major development will see the construction of the new medico legal centre and a new mortuary and State pathologists office.
The development comprises the completion, on a partially developed site, of a two storey centre with stone clad elevations in a walled garden, enclosed with a stone clad wall secured with gates.
The building will comprise offices and administration, post mortem rooms, technical areas and laboratories, records storage and plant, with 14 car parking spaces for visitors and staff.
The new facility will share the existing access driveway from the Malahide Road entrance, with Dublin Birebrigade's O'Brien Institute building.
