€300,000 Church Refurb Moves Forward

The main contractor has now been appointed for the alterations and refurbishment at St Marys Church, Killymard, Donegal Town.

The development work carried out by Joseph McMenamin & Son Ltd will include the proposed replacement of roof covering, internal alterations and refurbishment, upgrading of electrical and mechanical installation, erection of a storage building (37.8 square metres), the erection of a new ramp and associated siteworks.

The value of the scheme is in the region of €300,000.

According to the website www.unearthore.com the work is due to commence on site during late May 2011 and the contract period is 4 months.
