Outdoor Activity Centre Plan Refused

Plans for an outdoor activity centre in Roscommon have been rejected by An Bord Pleanala.

Although detail plans were approved by Roscommon County Council to Paul McGarry for the construction of the centre at Garrowlougher Td, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, An Bord Pleanala refused permission for the development on 11th July, 2011 after a third party appeal was submitted against the plans.

The centre was to include a reception building, incorporating installation of sewerage treatment plant and polishing filter, zip-line, buggy track, climbing frames and other ancillary outdoor activities.

Ancillary site works and services were also refused.
