Bridge On The Galway Line Approved

Detailed plans were approved by Galway Council to Iarnrod Eireann last week for the construction of a new public access road and bridge over the Dublin - Galway Railway Line at Derrydonnell.

It will be at the North and Mountain West halt in Galway.

Plans include site clearance, earthworks, bridge and pavement construction, verges, field accesses, drainage and accommodation works, fencing and associated boundary treatment, and closure of level crossing XG159.

The architect is Roughan and O'Donovan.
