A main contractor has been appointed, however the company details have yet to be officially disclosed, for the change of use of existing auditorium and ancillary rooms totalling spread over five floors into a place of worship with ancillary teaching and meeting rooms, all accessed through the existing rear entrance of Connolly Hall.
Designed by Kildare-based architects, Tim Chapman Architects, the development for the Donnybrook Pentecostal Church in Cork City will measure 1848 sq.m. and will be located on a 0.01 hectare site.
Work is expected to commence in October 2011 and will take in the region of four months to complete.
