Wexford-based contractor, Anthony Neville & Sons Development Limited has begun work on the construction of 69 houses replacing 116 as approved in Swiftbrook, Saggart, Co. Dublin.
Designed by Dublin-based architects, Anthony Reddy and Associates, the development will include 12 two-storey terraced houses; 33 two-storey terraced; 14 two-storey semi-detached houses and 10 semi-detached houses.
The proposal relates to the curtilage of protected structures being the existing rag store, entrance gates, chimney, tail race, mill points of Swiftbrook Mill all on lands bounded by existing residential development on Mill Road to the east, new residential development at Millrace Development lands to the north, existing residential development on Castle Road to the south and the previously approved Spine Road and undeveloped lands to the west.
The scheme provides for a total of 110 no. at-grade car parking spaces; all associated drainage and site development works, landscaping and ancillary works.
The development will measure 7,915 sq.m. and will be located on a 2.28 hectare site.
