Planning permission for an extension to a Dublin Hotel has been sought.
According to www.unearthore.comthe planning permission bid outlines a conversion of offices to a one-bedroom annex for the nearby Portobello Hotel.
The changes consist of the removal of existing internal office partitioning and the provision of 11 hotel bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms will be at semi-basement level, with a further eight on ground and first floor levels all of which will be within the existing building structure.
The total floor area of the building is 278 sqm including the adjoining single storey boiler house. No alterations are proposed to the front, rear or side facades, or the roofline of the building. Eight car parking spaces will be provided on an adjacent already permitted site.
The Portobello Hotel in Dublin City is set along the Grand Canal, a few minutes' walk from Stephen's Green in the centre of Dublin City.
