Belfast-based professional services consultancy Turner & Townsend has secured £12m worth of contracts to deliver construction consultancy on three projects in Northern Ireland.
It has been appointed by Northern Ireland Water to provide Cost Management services on the upgrade of the Clay Lake Water Treatment Works in Keady. The upgrade will take 18 months and is due to be completed in 2012.
In addition to this,it has also secured appointments with Belfast City Council and the Education & Library Boards. Belfast City Council has appointed Turner & Townsend and RPS to provide Project Management, Cost Management, CDM Coordinator, Building Services Engineering and Civil & Structural Engineering services for remedial works at various recycling centres and a waste transfer station.
The Education & Library Boards have appointed Turner & Townsend to lead a design team, which includes PHP Architects, MCF Consulting and Gillespie & Cummings, to carryout minor works on various schools for four Education & Library Boards.
