A €3.6m school development in Galway has taken the next step forward with planning permission being approved by the council.
Galway County Council has approved the 3,532 sq.m., two-storey, eight classroom educate together school development in Kilcogan, Co. Galway.
The development designed by Galway based architects; Enplan will include an indoor recreation area and associated staff room, library, meeting rooms, resource rooms and parents room, provision of external play areas including one all-weather playing pitch with perimeter fencing.
A part single/two storey building comprising a crèche at ground floor level and medical consulting rooms at first floor level; 55 car parking spaces; and all boundary walls, fences, signs and gates are also included in the development
A full design team of consultants have been engaged on the project.
Enplan, who designed the project, is an independent Galway based town planning, engineering, design and environmental consultancy. They can provide expert advice on all aspects of the development process across a range of development types, from extensions and one-off houses to large residential, commercial, industrial and mixed use developments, as well as asset development, schools, minerals and infrastructure projects.
