Tenders are currently being sought for the appointment of a contractor to undertake construction work of a new sports hall at Castleknock Community College in Dublin.

Designed by A&D Wejchert, the projects comprises the construction of a two-storey extension to the college which will consist of a new sports hall with balcony and associated changing rooms, 10 classrooms, ancillary accommodation and covered link to the existing school building with a total floor area of 2,005 sq.m. Modification of the existing school will include the creation of a corridor and an extension to the technology room of 16.3 sq.m.

The new development also includes the demolition and removal of two temporary classroom buildings located along the northern boundary of the site and the provision of 26 new car park spaces, and associated external works including landscaping.

The development will measure 2,005 sq.m. and will be located on a 0.75 hectare site.
