Contractor Appointed For £5.5m Nursing Home

The main contractor has been appointed for the works involved in the construction of a 76-bed nursing care home on lands between Prince Andrew Way, Darby Road and Dunluskin Gardens, Carrickfergus.

Associated access landscaping and the additional off street car parking spaces will be included.

Main construction work is expected to commence on site during mid-November, 2011 and the contract period is estimated at 12 months. The cost of the scheme is in the region of £5.5 million. Sub-contractors will be appointed shortly.
