Construction work has begun on the construction of a new sports facility at Blackrock College in County Dublin.
Work is being carried out by a local contractor and is expected to be complete in August 2012.
The project designed by the Coady Partnership comprises the construction of a sports building, including a sports hall, changing facilities, medical room, administration office, circuit training facility and a classroom. The surrounding grass area will be landscaped to provide pedestrian access and suitable planting. Blackrock College has protected structures within its curtilage.
The development will measure 1,445 sq.m.
