Despite the challenges faced by the local development and construction sectors, Lisburn man Clyde Shanks said his new company of the same name, will offer a full range of planning consultancy services, with a combined focus of traditional core sectors and growth areas such as renewable energy.

The company has already secured work on a range of major developments, including the construction of a commercial leisure scheme and a number of renewable energy projects.
Mr Clyde said: "The market is certainly very different from a few years ago, but many of the changes that have taken place present opportunities."
