McKeon Group (www.mckeon.ie) is to officially launch its new mechanical services division today.

With over 30 years experience, the McKeon Group based in Swords, Dublin is highly respected amongst Irish construction industry professionals. The new division has resulted in two new full time positions in the company coupled with an increased use of mechanical subcontractors. McKeon Group also has plans to take on a further two employees over the next year.

"At a time of retrenchment in the construction industry, it is a credit to the hard work and dedication of all our employees that we are not only still standing strong today, but are in a position to launch this new division," said Managing Director, Tomás Mac Eoin.

The launch is the latest step in the company's rebranding process. The new division will allow the company to provide a complete solution package to its clients.

"The launch of the new division has been driven by our desire to provide the best possible service to our clients, new and old," said Mac Eoin. "We can now provide a one-stop comprehensive service, with full professional in house back up."

The new division will help to complement the company’s well established Construction, Energy, Electrical and Telecommunications services. Some of the company's current clients include the Health Service Executive, Fingal County Council, several educational facilities, including Dublin City University as well as a variety of private clients.

The mechanical services division will be headed up by new recruit Jim Wheatley and will offer a full range of mechanical building services for commercial, industrial, public and private clients. The commercial services offered include heating, air conditioning and ventilation installations, while the industrial services include steam, gases and process ventilation.

The one stop shop created as a result of the new mechanical services division will help improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the McKeon Group's operations. This will create significant cost savings for the company which will be passed on to its clients, both public and private.
