Hannaway Appointed To RICS World Board

A Newry-based chartered surveyor has added some prestigious letters and another important role to his already impressive CV.

Mr Hannaway is the current chairman of RICS Northern Ireland, a post he will hold for a further year. He recently successfully applied to sit on the organisation's UK & Ireland World Regional Board – one of seven boards that oversee the 100,000 member organisation’s activities - a post he will hold for three years.

There are nine non-executive members of the RICS UK & Ireland World Regional Board, including senior property professionals from multi-national organisations.

Mr Hannaway says that the UK & Ireland World Regional Board plays a key role in guiding the work and activities of RICS in the UK & Ireland, where there are some 40,000 members.
