Construction and fit-out company Patton, has played a key role in the delivery of a new Oxford Street store for the retail giant, Primark.
The company's highly experienced retail team was responsible for the internal fit-out of the new 86,000 sq ft store at London's Oxford Street East in its latest project for Primark.
The multi million pound contract took 29 weeks and involved working over four floors of trading space to deliver a distinctive urban look and feel for the store which is Primark's fifth largest in the UK.
Patton's Brendan Boyd explained: "This magnificent new store introduces many new design elements which together comprise an altogether new and exciting look for Primark.
"Within the store there is a combination of exposed brick, black metal caged pillars and joists as well as large screens installed to display products and promotions. Located at the foot of the main escalator and covering the walls above and to either side of the customer lift is an impressive LED screen measuring 12 metres high by 4.5 metres wide.
"Another really interesting feature is the ‘trend room' which stands out as a separate entity featuring unique collections and distinguished by suspended light bulbs, a galvanised steel lighting gantry and a light-box studded ceiling."
The new Primark flagship store has 1,443 employees, 111 cash desks, 92 fitting rooms and has a capacity for almost 2,500 shoppers.
