MITIE, the FTSE 250 strategic outsourcing and energy services company, has appointed a new catering expert in Ireland to expand its specialist capability for its clients.

Denise Arthur has joined MITIE's catering business to ensure its Irish clients enjoy the same level of expertise and local resource that has proved so successful in the English market.

Operating across the UK with a turnover of £45 million, MITIE's Catering business focuses on providing an agile, flexible and contemporary service either as a standalone caterer or as part of an integrated facilities management model through the wider MITIE Group's activity.

MITIE has been operating in Ireland since 2010, growing from 60 to over 1,200 people today. The catering business has been the most recent addition to MITIE’s services in the region.

Denise has a wealth of experience in the catering industry having operated commercial, concession and business and industry contracts both in the UK and USA.

Prior to joining MITIE's catering business, Denise was responsible for leading a team in the design, development, staffing and mobilisation of the Main Media Centre at the Olympic Park. This included providing a 24 hour operation with private dining and all-access meals for over 28,000 people per day during the 2012 Games.
