Roads Minister Danny Kennedy has announced a £65k scheme to replace street lighting at Cliftonville Road, Belfast.
The scheme, running between Antrim Road and Ciftonville Circus, is due to start on 1 March 2013 and will be fully operational within six weeks.
The Minister said: "This investment will provide a modern lighting scheme that meets current British Standards, improving the quality of lighting while reducing energy costs, carbon emissions and light pollution."
To help minimise any inconvenience to road users and local residents/businesses, the works will be carried out using off-peak lane closures, starting on 1 March 2013 and continuing until 29 March 2013. Two-way traffic flow will be maintained.
