Renovation Works Continue At Comhar Chuigéil Teo

The Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Dinny McGinley T.D., has announced that he has sanctioned a grant of €16,110 for Comhar Chuigéil Teo.

The grant will help continue with the necessary preparatory work for renovations to the co-op's sewage system. Part of the grant also provides for renovation works on the ceiling of the hall in the centre.

Minister McGinley said: "When the particular importance of the activities of Comhar Chuigéil and the importance of the building as a community centre and as a centre for the Irish college are taken into account, it is very important to help the co-op to complete this necessary work."
