Wexford Firm Scoops Two Awards

Wexford firm Kent Stainless have won two prestigious awards – thanks to their booming export contracts.

The plant at Ardcavan, picked up the 'Manufacturing Exporter of the Year' and overall 'Exporter of the Year 2012' awards at a recent event hosted by The Irish Exporters Association.

Established in 1982, and part of the Kent group, Kent Stainless provides innovative engineering solutions for a wide range of industries across the world.

The company's turnover has doubled over the last three years and in 2012 alone it exported approximately 100 tonnes of wastewater treatment machinery to Holland, South Africa and Britain.
