Final Phase Of Belfast On The Move Gets Underway

The work to introduce new bus lanes as part of the Belfast on The Move initiative has now moved to Wellington Place, Chichester Street and Donegall Square East.

Alterations to kerb lines and traffic islands are underway and re-surfacing will be carried out with night time road closures over the next 2 weeks.

From Friday 17 May a bus lane will come into operation on Donegall Square East. This will restrict movement from Donegall Square East into Adelaide Street to buses, taxis, motorcycles and cycles only between 7am and 7pm Monday to Saturday.
