W. Sligo Pier Offered €127,500 Repairs

A pier in West Sligo could be in line for €127,500 of repairs, according to The Sligo Champion.

Pullnadivva Pier is located off the Coast Road between Aughris and Dromore West.

The Department of Agriculture has offered up a maximum grant of €63,750, which would have to be matched by council funding, if it were approved.

Cllr Mary Barrett described the pier as having a "unique character".

Engineers Gary Salter and Dessie Sloyan worked on the application for funding.
