Coleraine Road Works To Begin

Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy has announced the start of £165,000 major resurfacing schemes in Brook Street and Bannfield Road Coleraine this week.

Work at Bannfield Road, between Beresford Place near Tesco's store and Hanover Place, is due to begin on Thursday 20 June with work at Brook Street, between Union Street and Kingsgate Street, commencing on Sunday 23 June. The scheme is expected to be completed by Thursday 4 July.

The Minister said: "These schemes will benefit road users for many years to come by reducing ongoing maintenance problems and improving the running quality of the road surface by using high quality durable materials."

The scheme is expected to be completed by Friday 28 June.
