Labour TD For Dublin South East Kevin Humphreys has welcomed the increased funding for disability housing.

Minister Minister for Housing and Planning, Jan O'Sullivan announced a boost of €10 million in capital funding that will provide people with homes in their communities.

Mr Humphreys said: "The amount that has been secured by Minister Jan O’Sullivan will result in up to 90 extra units for those with disabilities and highlights this Government's commitment to investing in housing for this sector. €100 million in capital funding is committed to providing up to 800 new homes for people with a disability between 2012 and 2014, ensuring citizens have access to suitable accommodation in the areas where they live.
