Funding Granted For Copsewood Pool Refurb

Fianna Fáil TD for Limerick, Niall Collins, has welcomed the funding announcement for the refurbishment of the facilities at Copsewood Pool and Sports Company in Pallaskenry.

Deputy Collins said: "The announcement that almost €200,000 in capital funding has been granted for Copsewood Pool and Sports Company in Pallaskenry to develop their recreational facilities is very welcome news.

"The funding will help turn the facility in Pallaskenry into a state of the art complex that will provide a huge boost to the local area.

"The work of West Limerick Resources must also be recognised here and their service to local communities in the West Limerick area has been significant in terms of attracting funding for local community projects.

"I look forward to the continued success of Copsewood Pool and Sports Company in providing water safety training. The facility will also act as a valuable amenity for local communities in West Limerick."
