Consultation To Open On Govt's Better Energy Financing Project

The Better Energy Financing (BEF) Project will recommend a design for an energy efficiency improvement scheme which focuses on quality assurance relating to assessments, installations, workmanship and products and incorporates a financing solution most appropriate for consumers wanting to upgrade their homes and avail of the resulting energy efficiency savings.

The proposal is to submit the Scheme Description to Government for approval in September 2013.

The BEF project's draft proposal will be going out to public consultation for three weeks from Monday 29/07/2013.

Stakeholders' final submissions are to be sent to [email protected] by COB Friday 16/08/2013.
