The Draft Mahon Local Area Plan is accompanied by a Draft Environmental Report setting out the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing the local area plan. The report forms part of the statutory Strategic Environmental Assessment Directive (2001/42/EC) process.

A copy of the draft Local Area Plan, and the accompanying Environmental Report, may be inspected by the public, each working day, exclusive of public holidays, at the following locations:
• Planning Counter, City Hall, Anglesea Street, Cork between 10.30am and 4.30pm
• Cork City Libraries, Check www.corkcitylibraries.ie or your local library for opening times
Printed copies of the draft Local Area Plan are available for purchase at a price of €10 per copy.
Printed copies of the Draft Environmental Report and Habitats Directive Screening Report are also available to be purchased at a price of €5.
