Transport Minister Danny Kennedy has announced improvement work is to start in east Belfast on a £140,000 carriageway widening scheme.
The scheme is due to begin on Castlereagh Street, approaching its junction with the Albertbridge Road, Belfast, on Monday 26 August and will last for around nine weeks.
The Minister said: "The proposal will require the realignment of kerb lines and localised resurfacing of the carriageway. When completed the scheme will provide increased lane widths which will increase junction capacity for city bound traffic and help reduce congestion at the Castlereagh Street / Albertbridge Road junction generally."
