The 10 new homes were delivered by Apex Housing Association and are situated at Church Bay.
The scheme provides the first social homes to be built on the island in 18 years and more than doubles the available social housing stock.
The development provides high quality two and three bedroom family homes and was completed with part funding of £1.3m, provided through the housing association grant, which is managed and administered by the Housing Executive.

In recognition of their exposed island location, the building fabric of the new homes has been enhanced with greatly increased air tightness, together with the proposed mechanical ventilation and heat recovery technology.
The thermal comfort of the homes was also designed to Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes, which makes the homes around 44% more energy efficient than the current Building Regulation standards, and more sustainable in the longer term.
