Street Lighting To Be Installed In Lisburn

Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy has announced the installation of £75,000 worth of replacement street lighting at Queens Road, Lisburn.

The scheme between Seymour Street and Sloan Street is due to commence on Tuesday 1 October 2013 and will be fully operational within eight weeks.

The Minister said: "This investment will provide a lighting scheme that complies with current British Standards, improve the structural and electrical stability of the street lighting network, reduce energy costs, improve the quality of lighting, reduce sky glow/light pollution and carbon emissions."
