Two New Motorway Service Stations To Create 200 Jobs

Some 200 jobs are expected to be created during the construction of two new motorway service stations.

Topaz are investing €8 million in the construction of two new motorway services in Co Laois and Co Carlow.

One station will be Junction 3 on the Dublin-Cork motorway (M8) near Ballacolla in Co Laois, and Junction 5 on the Dublin-Waterford motorway (M9) in Co Carlow.

Work is due to begin on the Co Loais station in January.

The Co Carlow build is awaiting planning approval, but work is provisionally due to begin next summer.
