Council To Construct A New Pumping Station

Kildare County Council has announced it intends to construct a new pumping station at Athgarvan, Co. Kildare to replace the existing station.

The construction will include the following elements:

• Demolition of the existing pumping station and control kiosks

• Extension of existing site boundary

• New pumping station and control kiosks

• Emergency storage tankGravity sewers, rising mains and pipeline systems associated with the station

• 2.4m high security fence screened with planting

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection.
