Resurfacing Scheme On Glenville Road To Begin

Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy has announced the start of a £145,000 resurfacing scheme on Glenville Road, Newtownabbey this week.

The work is due to begin on Monday 14 October 2013 between Monkstown Avenue and the A2 Shore Road

The Minister said: "This scheme will deliver important improvements to the road network and will increase the life of the road, greatly improving the strength and ride quality of the carriageway."

Preparatory works will be carried out using lane closures. Road closures will be required for the resurfacing which will be carried out during off-peak hours.

The scheme is expected to be completed by 30 November 2013.
