Street Lighting Scheme Announced For Glengormley

Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy has announced the installation of a replacement street lighting scheme at Church Road, Glengormley

The scheme, between the junction with O’Neill Road and the junction with Glenmount Road is due to start on 4 November and will be fully operational within six weeks.

Mr Kennedy said: "This significant £100,000 investment will provide a lighting scheme that will improve the structural and electrical stability of the street lighting network. It will also improve the quality of lighting, and reduce energy costs, light pollution and carbon emissions."
