Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy announced the start of a £100,000 major resurfacing scheme in Coolreaghs Road, Cookstown on the week beginning 20 January 2014.
Work will take place on Coolreaghs Road between Claggan Lane and the town limits.
The Minister said: "This significant investment will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of this busy route that serves a number of local housing developments just outside Cookstown town centre."
To help minimise any inconvenience to the travelling public and local communities the majority of this work is programmed to be completed using traffic control. The scheme is expected to take two weeks to complete.
