Council to Carry Out Water Main Rehabilitation

As part of the Louth Water Conservation Project Louth County Council on behalf of Irish Water are to implement rehabilitation works on priority water distribution mains in the Dundalk area.

This will involve the laying of new water mains and transfer of existing services onto the new water main. Works will commence on 27th January 2014, and continue for a period of approx 30 weeks.

Works will take place on the following roads and will continue for the duration of approx 4-8 weeks on each section.

• Armagh Road

• Doylesfort Road

• Ardee Road

• Blackrock Road

• Old Golf Links Road

• Point Road

• St Clements Park

Works will commence on 27th Jan 2014.
